Serape Grotto Mosaic Restoration

Interim Arts completed the restoration of mosaic agave and cactus sculptures located within SAY Sí's permanent Serape Grotto installation at Hemisfair Park. The project focused on preserving and repairing sculptural elements while maintaining the visual integrity of the original artwork.

Work included structural repairs to damaged armatures, stabilization and resetting of sculpture bases, replacement of missing and damaged mosaic tile, grout replacement, and sourcing materials to closely match original tile and grout.

In addition to restoration services, Interim Arts provided project management, material procurement, and documentation throughout the process.
